YouTube Diggin': N.o.N. DJ's 3 Choice Cuts

Posted in Record Box Peek on Friday 04th November, 2011 by kirsti

It took a bit of persuading but our lineup for 12th November is complete and it’s another big one. Tiefschwarz return to their Room One home from home, Dave Clarke heads up Room Two marking the release of his fabric 60 mix with Detroit’s live techno masters Octave One and Nature or Nurture are coming to Room Three alongside resident Terry Francis with their infamously twisted take on a house party.

Last time we spoke to N.o.N they were branching out into label territory and now, when we meet again they’re getting set for their third release. Out on the 7th is a deep journey in house form Daniel Button with remixes from Zeitgeist and The Pushamann, a release you can preview here on their Youtube Channel. So it’s a perfect time for a good N.o.N. style knees up then and to get in gear for the occasion we took a prompt from that pertinent number three as the guests rose to the occasion and selected three choice cuts for your ears.

Claire Ripley's 3 Choice Cuts:

1. Huxley, Russo - Don't Undastand

2. Dzeta N Basile - Through the Ceiling (Moodymanc Remix)

3. Phil Weeks - By My Side (Hector Moralez Ghetto Mix)

Zeitgeist's Three Choice Cuts:

1. Head High - It's A Love Thing (Island Mix)

2. Aardvarck - Just Washed That Pig

3. Q Lazarus - Goodbye Horses - something from the vaults. It's a a great example of early 90's synth pop, and I'm quite partial to a mangina now and again.

The Pushamann's Three Choice Cuts:

1. Roy Davis Jr Ft Peven Everett - Gabriel

2. De’lacy - Hideaway (Dubfire Needs to Score)

3. Maurice -This Is Acid
