It would be fair to say that the influence of Goldie’s utterly seminal drum & bass imprint Metalheadz has had an indelible impact on electronic music. Now 15 years deep in the game, ’Headz remains a crucial cog of the scene, still churning out some of its most creative and forward thinking music, with the likes of Commix, Spectrasoul, Alix Perez and Noisia all working with the label in 2009.

They recently released a 15 track compilation celebrating some of the finest moments in its long and illustrious history, and predictably it’s like a roll call for D&B’s most incredible – and pivotal – tracks.
