It’s special times at the RAM Records camp at the moment with not only the clock ticking down to their next FABRICLIVE a week on Friday, they’re also getting closer and closer to RAM release numero 100! But with hype bubbling about it online and talk amongst both DJs and fans as to what one of the biggest and most influential drum and bass labels will be dropping for RAMM100, we’ve taken a step back to concentrate on the here and now as currently, the selection of releases leading up to the big one, are getting us just as excited!
By this we’re referring to RAMM094 which comes in the form of two equally anthemic tracks by duo Loadstar, released today; ‘Space Between,’ a superb example that D&B love songs do exist, and ‘BLVD,’ an infectious slice of modern day euphoric drum and bass with pulsating strings and diva vocals.
Following Loadstar is a forthcoming special one-off EP from the mighty Fresh, RAMM095 aka ‘Future Jungle EP.’ Fresh’s four track futuristic and space-age homage to jungle, including ‘The Gatekeeper’ which in recent weeks has driven our fabric crowd into more than a frenzy when dropped by selectors, such as Hype and Fabio. Being it’s a Monday, we’ve decided to share the love and all that, and have 12” copies of both stellar releases to give away!
