Praise the lord for LTJ Bukem, for it was his album ‘Logical Progression’ that inspired Makoto to take a walk on the wild side; deep into the realms of drum & bass. Makoto burst onto the UK scene in 1998 with the luxuriously textured 12” release ‘Wave’ on Bukem’s label Good Looking, and the rest…as they say…is history. Following a series of releases on Good Looking over a number of years, he’s gone on to release on Total Science’s C.I.A., Fabio’s Creative Source, Zinc’s Bingo Beats and of course Marky’s Innerground Records – for whom he has a mix album on the way.
